Bonjour! I just got back from my retreat and I have to admit, it was fun. I thought it was going to be a drag but surprisingly it wasn't. Are theme this year, for our school is love. Did I ever mention to you guys that I go to a Christian school by any chance? Well, if I haven't, I go to a Christian school. Haha We have different themes each year for our school. Last year, the theme was the word Deeper.
Anyways, the message they said during the 3 days, was awesome! I really needed it. It was so great!
I think the other reason why this retreat was great because the annoying people didn't come. Haha I know its mean to say that but, it's kinda true. If they would have came, they would have complained and try to be "cool".
The weather there was super cold! I had to wear two layers of sweaters when I walked around. It was so cold, that when we played capture the flag in the dark, my fingers got all numb and it started to hurt. I seriously didn't like that game because 1 we started late, 2 no one really wanted to play because we were all tired, 3 everyone stopped playing the game and wasted time when we could have been sleeping. Besides the not-so-great games, they made us play, it was great. I got to hang out with all my friends and I also made new friends.
To bad the retreat only lasted 3 days. I would have liked to stay there for a week! It gave me a break from my mom, home and school work. Oh well, all things must come to an end at some point. Like how this post must come to and end. Haha
